Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute (ASMI) is a public-private partnership between the State of Alaska and the Alaska seafood industry. ASMI is Alaska’s official seafood marketing arm;it maximizes the economic value of the Alaska   seafood resource by: 

• Developing and creating markets 
• Building and protecting the Alaska Seafood brand 
• Working directly with the Alaska seafood Industry 

The Alaska seafood industry is one the most important players in the global seafood industry, exporting over 1 million MT of various wild natural and sustainable species.
