Trends in the Agrifood Sector: Processed Meat

The conference will address aspects of the origin and development of the Federal Inspection Type system in Mexico, from the way it was established to those aspects that have favored its growth in Mexico. Currently Executive President of the National Association of Federal Inspection Type Establishments (ANETIF), he was General Director of Food Safety and General Director of Animal Health, both positions in SENASICA, prior to that and also in the National Service he was Director of Imports and Exports in Animal Health and Director of the National Laboratory of Verification Services.
He has extensive experience in negotiation issues with authorities from other countries, having participated in the working groups that negotiated the chapters on Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures with the US and Europe and has also been a member of expert groups of the World Health Organization Animal (OIE) and FAO.
